Aparium Hotel Group will be involved in all aspects of positioning, marketing, branding and operating of The Hewing Hotel. The company has a very diverse and successful history in the hospitality industry; including The Iron Horse Hotel Milwaukee and the Elysian Hotel, recently reflagged as the Waldorf Astoria Chicago. Aparium is managed by Mario Tricoci, Jr. Mario was the President, Managing Partner, and Principal for the Elysian Hotel Group. Prior to Elysian Hotel Group, Tricoci was an attorney at the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig, focusing on the acquisition, development, financing and operation of various types of real estate, but specializing in the luxury hotel segment throughout America. He represented many nationally and internationally known hotel and business owners as well as investors, handling the negotiations of some of the world’s largest hotel management companies including Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Rosewood, and Starwood Brands.

Fe Equus, managed by Tim Dixon, breathes new life into old buildings. Since 1998, Fe Equus has specialized in redevelopment of underutilized buildings and land within urban and rural environments. The projects have included mixed-use commercial and residential development throughout Wisconsin. Dixon’s hallmarks are new construction that enhances local design aesthetics and, more notably, preservation of existing architecture accented by contemporary use and design. Whether rural or urban, Dixon says inspiration for his work emerges from their unique locations. He believes location was a leading factor of the ultimate success of The Iron Horse Hotel Milwaukee, which has become the most successful hotel in Milwaukee, despite its location outside of the Downtown Area.
