Originally built in 1897, the full restoration of this historic building celebrates the beauty and integrity of the structure while embracing the influence of progressive modern culture surrounding it. The Hewing Hotel brings an iconic hotel experience to Minneapolis’ vibrant downtown, boasting an incredible food and beverage scene thriving with local culture. The city’s most acclaimed and busiest restaurants surround the hotel site.

The hotel building features old-growth pine beams and posts harvested from virgin pine forests in Minnesota. The hotel’s 125 rooms offers guests thoughtfully designed rooms with exclusive access to a year-round rooftop sauna and pool deck, business lounge, screening room, state-of-the-art fitness facility and more.
